Meet Ed Zatta
Edward Zatta, RPh, brings over three decades of pharmaceutical expertise to his role as CEO and Co-­ Founder of Vigor Compounding. His career began in retail pharmacy, quickly progressing to management roles. From 1988 to 2007, Ed specialized in long-term care and sterile infusion therapy, developing comprehensive skills in managing complex medication regimens for elderly and chronically ill patients.
In 2013, Ed redirected his focus to pharmaceutical compounding, recognizing the growing demand for customized medication solutions. He founded a 503B outsourcing facility, implementing cGMP standards and overseeing the design of state-of-the-art compounding facilities.
His expertise extends to both sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques, with a particular emphasis on developing innovative formulations and dosing systems.
Zatta's regulatory acumen is a cornerstone of his professional profile.
He has extensive experience with FDA regulations and industry compliance, including deep understanding of USP <797>, <795>, and <800> standards.
His participation in FDA listening sessions and small group meetings has positioned him as a key figure in interpreting and implementing new regulatory guidelines within the industry.
As an industry leader, Ed co-founded the Outsourcing Facilities of America (OFA) and served as its treasurer.
He continues to play a pivotal role in shaping industry standards and best practices.
